A new study showed that IVF patients receiving acupuncture and moxibustion had pregnancy rates 500% higher than control groups and more than 300% higher than the sham acupuncture group. Acupuncture results in higher ovulation frequency in women with PCOS

In a recent study lean and overweight women with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome who received electro-acupuncture twice a week for 10-13 weeks showed greater ovulation frequency during treatment than the control group who received physical therapy.
