I’ve been receiving treatments at Acupuncture NW for over 10 years for various injuries, aches and pains. They are very professional and all the acupuncturists are masters in their profession.

I was diagnosed with an over-active thyroid. Over six months, the thyroid levels continued to worsen to a critical level and I was prescribed thyroid medication. Having experienced the negative effects of pharmaceutical thyroid medication in the past I wanted to seek alternative therapies. My family physician was not happy with my decision although she agreed to six weeks for me to try something other than drugs.

I went to see Stephanie Gianarelli at Acupuncture Northwest with my timeline of six weeks. Stephanie listened with such loving compassion to my worries about my thyroid, and to the depression I was feeling over the debilitating pain I was experiencing in my neck, in my back and in my arms and legs. Although concerned with the limited time of six weeks to work on my thyroid Stephanie was so encouraging and so positive! We started on a series of weekly treatments for my thyroid and for the pain.

Only four weeks later, with a follow-up blood test, my thyroid levels were back to normal! And, I am no longer suffering from the intense pain in my body. I can now manage my daily activities and enjoy my life! I am so happy with the results of the acupuncture sessions at Acupuncture Northwest. Thank you, Stephanie!

I have been seeing Stephanie at Acupuncture NW for a year and a half.  I have been getting acupuncture treatments for nearly 15 years now in the Seattle area, and I can honestly say she is by far the best practitioner I have ever had. She is extremely empathic and uses a holistic approach to treatment.  I started seeing her when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, and a few months later I needed to have pituitary surgery for a benign tumor.  The recovery was a nightmare and without Stephanie’s caring attention and skill as a practitioner, I would not have gotten through it as well as as I did.   I so appreciate her and her wonderful staff and cannot recommend them highly enough!  Heather E. via Yelp

Stephanie has been treating me for sleep issues and allergies for a couple years. I notice the benefits when I get regular treatments, and gradually my symptoms (especially insomnia) have been decreasing.

Having had a maddening, debilitating case of eczema for 6 years, and upon the recommendation of a friend I went to Acupuncture Northwest & Associates. My results were immediate, sustained, and beyond my expectations. Moreover, the results were far more effective than any of the many treatments which I had tried – medical, naturopathic, or herbal. I will continue with the acupuncture.

The beneficial effect of acupuncture has gone beyond greatly reducing the eczema. It has eliminated a lower back ailment, reduced the pain from arthritis in both knees, and increased my overall level of energy. There are other subtle psychological benefits – perhaps a result from being freed from the constant aches; perhaps from the “energy realignment” about which I have heard but which I do not pretend to comprehend. I do understand the good results.
