Emotional Wellbeing

Mind/Body Therapy is probably the treatment of choice for issues in this section.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) also has something to offer this category.

Anxiety – anxiety attacks and
panic attacks are at the very least an annoyance and at the worst
– completely debilitating. Bothe acupuncture and Chinese herbs work
very well at calming the person and acupuncture helps to get at
what lies beneath the anxiety.

Stress often leads to other symptoms
like insomnia, sore neck or shoulder, or digestive upset. Treating
stress at the root takes a combination of subtle attitude shifts
with energetically (acupuncture) and physically (Chinese herbs)
de-stressing the body.

Depression – according to Chinese
medicine, can not exist by itself. Underneath depression there is
always another emotion, often several different emotions. When we
say we are depressed, we often mean we are sad or angry or disappointed.
Chinese medicine will always look for the root of the "depression,"
and attempt to heal at that level, often successfully.
