Amber Hammes

Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Chinese Herbalist

Amber Hammes (LAc., Dipl. OM) is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Washington and nationally certified through NCCAOM as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. She received her Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. In 2007, Amber concluded a preceptorship in the Complementary Medicine department at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. In 2008, she completed an international clinical and didactic internship at Long Hua and Shu Guan hospitals in Shanghai, China, focusing on ob/gyn and fertility enhancement as well as general medicine.

Amber utilizes the science of western medicine and theories of TCM to harmonize the body, and works to support the individual in their attainment of health. She specializes in the reproductive health and fertility support of both women and men to assist in bringing healthy babies into a loving environment.

Amber has studied with Dr. Rosey Ma, LAc., fertility specialist at Bastyr University, as well as Dr. Randine Lewis, LAc., Ph.D., author of The Infertility Cure. In addition to acupuncture, and Chinese herbs, Amber has had training in Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Foot Reflexology, Acutonics, Ayurveda, and is a certified Craniosacral practitioner. She combines these modalities to achieve the greatest level of balance in mind, body and spirit for her patients.
