Dr. McKenzie Myers, Naturopath, Acupuncturist
Dr. Myers is so knowledgeable! It is wonderful to have her be able to see me with both her naturopathic and Chinese medicine eyes. I feel very well cared for by her. I’d recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Myers is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and East Asian Medicine Practitioner in the state of Washington. She studied both of these ancient and artful forms of medicine, along with the modern and scientific evidence that supports them, at Bastyr University, a highly respected institution in both fields from which she obtained her degrees of Naturopathic Doctor and Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Before attending graduate school at Bastyr, McKenzie earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology – Biomedical Sciences with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma. This extensive breadth of knowledge in both Eastern and Western medical philosophies, allows Dr. Myers to perceive her patients in a holistic and integrative manner and thus to provide them with individualized and transformative courses of treatment.
Dr. Myers’s clinical approach is based on getting to the root of disease through obtaining a complete medical history, utilizing appropriate diagnostic techniques and tools, and offering a wide range of treatment modalities which can be applied to a vast spectra of disorder and disease. She works with her patients to establish the determinants of health and to remove the obstacles to cure, through a balance of education, motivation, natural prescription (in the forms of hydrotherapy, Western and Chinese herbs, supplements, and homeopathic remedies), conventional prescription when necessary, and hands-on treatment in the form of acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, tui na, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, therapeutic massage, muscle energy stretching and osteopathic manipulation.
As the newest member of Acupuncture Northwest, McKenzie is beginning an in depth study of fertility and will sit for the national board exam for fertility acupuncturists (ABORM) next January. Dr. Myers is also currently working as a Teaching Fellow at Bastyr University for the Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine Department. She is passionate about the ability of education to empower us on our healing journeys and she is excited about sharing her knowledge with patients as well as with future practitioners.
When not working you can find Dr. Myers out hiking, hanging her hammock up in the woods, playing with dogs and other cuddly critters, enjoying live music, and spending quality time with her partner, close friends and family.
