Natalie Willits is a licensed practitioner of East Asian Medicine in the state of Washington, and is board certified by the NCCAOM in both acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, and her Masters of Science degree from Bastyr University. Since graduating from Bastyr, she has enjoyed blending the unique practice of East Asian medicine with the knowledge of Western allopathic treatment. She enjoys helping a variety of patients, including those seeking treatment for acute/chronic pain, insomnia, digestive complaints, and psycho-emotional disorders. Natalie is currently undergoing rigorous additional fertility training at Acupuncture Northwest in order to become a fertility acupuncturist at our clinic and will also sit for the national fertility board exam (ABORM) next January.
Natalie has worked with some of the top practitioners in Seattle, including the acupuncture teams at Seattle Children’s Hospital, Seattle Children’s Pain Medicine Clinic, and the Providence Regional Cancer Partnership in Everett. She makes it a priority to stay up to date with Western medical research, and values its necessity in some paths to healing. With that being said, Natalie has loved using East Asian medicine to help patients in a natural and less invasive way. She works to resolve both the primary symptoms as well as the root cause, which leads to longer lasting recoveries for her patients.
To help resolve pain and activate the healing process, Natalie uses a variety of techniques, including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na (a type of body work), moxibustion, cupping, the balancing technique, and nutrition recommendations.
