I sincerely believe without your treatment, I would not have my two beautiful babies. My doctors told me I couldn’t have children, and acupuncture made it a reality. After several failed attempts to achieve a pregnancy through IVF, I sought out acupuncture with Cindy Lawrence. I can happily report my son is now almost 2 years old and my husband and I both feel that acupuncture helped to make our dreams come true. I am now attempting to get pregnant again and can’t wait to start acupuncture treatments with Cindy. She is professional and compassionate and it was a pleasure to work with her on achieving our goals.

Krissy is an outstanding acupuncturist whose care, attention, skill, and professionalism made my time with her both comfortable and productive. I began seeing her on the recommendation of my OB/GYN in the third trimester of my pregnancy to treat my migraine headaches. I have had migraines since I was a child and have always treated them with medication, which I chose to quit during my pregnancy. When my migraines became increasingly frequent and severe in my third trimester, I began seeing her, whose treatments began to lessen the frequency of my migraines almost immediately and resolved them completely within a few weeks. I am now 7 weeks post-partum and still haven’t had a migraine since early in my third trimester, which is by far the longest I have ever gone without one. She also helped to induce me when I was 39 weeks pregnant with a very large baby (on the advice of my OB/GYN), and I went into labor 6 days early, just one day after my induction treatment. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking acupuncture treatment for any condition, but especially for migraine treatment and prenatal care.

I first sought acupuncture as a natural remedy for my infertility, and visited a handful of recommended acupuncturists in Connecticut. Cindy was heads and tails above the rest - in her knowledge, technique, and personal interest in my situation. Unlike other acupuncturists, Cindy strives (and succeeds) in treating the whole person - consulting about diet, exercise, and emotional issues which influence the health and well-being of the patient. Needless to say, I am three weeks away from giving birth to my first child, which I am sure is in part due to Cindy’s meticulous and thoughtful care.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Acupuncture Northwest and would wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a holistic and welcoming space to find healing. I was being seen for acupuncture to help reduce stress and anxiety and was truly amazed by the results of her work. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I started seeing Andrea in 2011 after our health fair. I was going to see her for stress but then we started talking about fertility and decided that she could really help out in that area also. We got pregnant in 2012 and I saw Andrea thru the entire pregnancy. NO MORNING SICKNESS and such a great help with relaxation and just helping me out emotionally. Our girl was born in December and I know that Andrea helped with that whole process.
Second child update…We decided we wanted to try for one more before I was “too old” and we started seeing Andrea again in June of 2014 and by end of July we had a positive test. Since the due date is stating we got pregnant in June I know Andrea helped with that … We are at 15 weeks and since our first came early, she is seeing me a bit more to help keep the pre-eclampsia away. She is such a blessing and I would highly recommend her for either relaxation or ESPECIALLY fertility. She will always be my acupuncturist and I am so blessed for having met her!

I feel that acupuncture definitely made a huge difference for me. Two RE’s told me that I would never be able to have children, and to look into other ways to build a family. I kept doing the acupuncture, and ate a careful diet. Six months later, I got pregnant without the help of fertility treatments, and was finally able to carry a baby to term. We are now the very happy parents of a 13 month old boy. I really believe that acupuncture helped me get pregnant and stay pregnant. - Tara

When I had my shoulder injury, she would treat me right after PT and my range of motion would increase by 20-30% in about a minute and a half. My physical therapist was so amazed and told me to always get acupuncture right after I had PT with her. Without acupuncture, it would have taken me much longer to heal my shoulder. After several years of invasive fertility treatments, coupled with drugs that altered my mood and body, I gave up on “science.” I was a believer in statistics and data, but science failed me. I opened my mind to the idea of acupuncture as a means of getting my sense of self back. If a pregnancy came along, that would be an unexpected gift. When I met with Cindy, she was warm, compassionate, and asked questions about my body and overall health that made sense. She recognized my initial worries about acupuncture and put them at rest. I never once felt unsure, uncomfortable, or unclear when Cindy treated me, as I had with Western doctors. Acupuncture relaxed me and ultimately (coupled with Cindy’s dietary advice), allowed my body to become pregnant! I saw Cindy until my 8th month of pregnancy and I truly believe she is a monumental reason why my son James is here. My husband and I do not have enough words to thank her.

I was suffering from excruciating headaches and was prescribed these huge pills by a Neurologist. When I read the “side effects” of those meds, I decided not to take those prescribed meds and instead opted for a non-invasive alternative treatment. Fortunately, I discovered Krissy. She helped get rid of my headaches completely.

So now, every time I have pain issues with my neck or elbows or sciatica pain on my legs, I go to her for acupuncture treatments. With every treatment, she helps me relax and release all my stress and anxiety with her acupuncture and maintains my energy balance with acupuncture.

I went to my first acupuncture appointment with great skepticism and fear. I confess I am a little needle phobic, but after a year of a painful tennis elbow, I was ready to try anything. Stephanie was very kind and gentle and really took the time to listen to me. But, best of all, after 4 treatments she cured my elbow and it has not bothered me since. As a physician, I now refer patients to her on a regular basis and the feedback I get is outstanding. She is a skillful practitioner and a wonderful person.

I’ve been receiving treatments at Acupuncture NW for over 10 years for various injuries, aches and pains. They are very professional and all the acupuncturists are masters in their profession.

Highly Recommend! 
I was diagnosed with an over-active thyroid. Over six months, the thyroid levels continued to worsen to a critical level and I was prescribed thyroid medication. Having experienced the negative effects of pharmaceutical thyroid medication in the past I wanted to seek alternative therapies. My family physician was not happy with my decision although she agreed to six weeks for me to try something other than drugs.
I went to see Stephanie Gianarelli at Acupuncture Northwest with my timeline of six weeks. Stephanie listened with such loving compassion to my worries about my thyroid, and to the depression I was feeling over the debilitating pain I was experiencing in my neck, in my back and in my arms and legs. Although concerned with the limited time of six weeks to work on my thyroid Stephanie was so encouraging and so positive! We started on a series of weekly treatments for my thyroid and for the pain.
Only four weeks later, with a follow-up blood test, my thyroid levels were back to normal! And, I am no longer suffering from the intense pain in my body. I can now manage my daily activities and enjoy my life! I am so happy with the results of the acupuncture sessions at Acupuncture Northwest. Thank you, Stephanie!

I have been seeing Stephanie at Acupuncture NW for a year and a half. I have been getting acupuncture treatments for nearly 15 years now in the Seattle area, and I can honestly say she is by far the best practitioner I have ever had. She is extremely empathic and uses a holistic approach to treatment. I started seeing her when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, and a few months later I needed to have pituitary surgery for a benign tumor. The recovery was a nightmare and without Stephanie’s caring attention and skill as a practitioner, I would not have gotten through it as well as as I did. Having had a maddening, debilitating case of eczema for 6 years, and upon the recommendation of a friend I went to Acupuncture Northwest & Associates. My results were immediate, sustained, and beyond my expectations. Moreover, the results were far more effective than any of the many treatments which I had tried – medical, naturopathic, or herbal. I will continue with the acupuncture.

The beneficial effect of acupuncture has gone beyond greatly reducing the eczema. It has eliminated a lower back ailment, reduced the pain from arthritis in both knees, and increased my overall level of energy. There are other subtle psychological benefits – perhaps a result from being freed from the constant aches; perhaps from the “energy realignment” about which I have heard but which I do not pretend to comprehend. I do understand the good results.
